I love driving to the mountains with my family. The landscape as we drive through the high desert is amazing. There are soft pastels and subtle shades everywhere contrasted against the bright blue sky. I painted this piece to try and capture the  beauty of the vast landscape in California and the happiness I feel when surrounded by nature.

This original painting is signed and dated on the front. The edges are painted in blue and the painting is finished with professional grade UV resistant varnish. It is wired and ready to hang.
