Keeping it in Perspective 36 x 48 in.
Acrylic and pastel on gallery wrapped canvas, 36 x 48 x 1.5 in.
Living in California, by the beach, the lifeguard towers are an iconic sight. I love to paint them with unusual angles and colors. This piece really focuses on a mix of a 2 point perspective and a single point perspective and I love the fun shapes these create making us see the lifeguard tower in a more unusual way. I often struggle to keep my life in perspective and can blow small problems way out of proportion so I like the way this has 'forced' me to keep things in perspective.
